As a thank you to the people and communities that have supported the organization over our 50 years, staff and members gathered to give back. Handmade tie blankets were assembled to donate to the Ames Animal Shelter while handwritten cards were made to provide to the Iowa Foodbank's Backpack program. During the afternoon, staff and members picked up trash at Union Park in Des Moines and spread mulch and pick up trash at Inis Grove Park in Ames. Thank you to both the Polk and Story County communities for being a partner to Mainstream Living!
