Kindness - Pass It On!

Celebrated on February 17th, National Random Acts of Kindness Day has grown in popularity each year. It is celebrated by individuals, groups, and organizations to encourage acts of kindness. Acts of Kindness can be simple: put money in a stranger's parking meter, buy the meal or coffee of someone in line behind you, allow someone in your lane in traffic, or even sharing a book with someone. These acts don’t need to break the bank or affect your ability financially to support yourself and loved ones. Simple Acts of Kindness can bring a smile to another person’s face and brighten their day.

Psychiatrists have also discovered that there are benefits to those who perform random acts of kindness. They can make a person happier, improve heart health, increase energy and self-esteem, and help lengthen life span. February 17th is a Monday, which makes an even better opportunity to improve someone’s day and give yourself a boost in confidence and happiness as well. Try to take the time to do one Act of Kindness and see where that takes you for the day! For more ideas and inspiration, please visit ttps://www.randomactsofkindness.org/kindness-ideas.
