Mainstream Living Inc. provides residential and in-home services for developmentally challenged adults and children, and psychiatrically impaired adults. Living skills, personal hygiene skills, and communication skills are taught to help the person served live more independently in both their home and community environments.

Excellent entry level opportunities are open to individuals seeking experience in a human services career. Part-time and full-time positions, plus a wide variety of hours are available where employees provide supervision, assistance, and direct care of Mainstream's residents. Mainstream also has a support staff of accountants, administrators, and receptionists.

A wide range of on-the-job training is provided, including: the use of positive behavior modification techniques, medication administration, crisis prevention intervention, and general first aid. The training will improve the employee's skills as a mentor, teacher, and consumer counselor.
