ACE (Advocacy, Connections, Empowerment)
ACE (Advocacy, Connections and Empowerment) is a day habilitation program that focuses on community integration and self advocacy. ACE is a member-driven program for individuals with high levels of independence who are involved in all aspects of their activities including brainstorming, planning, and executing.
ACE members spend time advocating for themselves through presentations or tours. They are also active with ID Action, events at the capital, speaking with legislatures, and reaching out to students in the community.
Since ACE is a member-driven program, all activities are based on each member's personal interest. Their gifts and talents are shared with others which enhances the lives of all involved.
